Two years ago, we launched No Rest for the Wicked into Early Access with a simple goal:

Build the souls-like action RPG we always wanted to play, not a clone but something more raw, tactile and alive. Since then, over 1.8 million players helped us shape Wicked into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

And now, we are thrilled to announce that the wait for the full 1.0 release is nearly over!!!

What to Expect in Version 1.0

The full 1.0 release is a massive expansion of the core experience, offering around a hundred hours of content for both solo players and multiplayer lovers. It introduces staggering 60+ hours of new content, a new horde mode, new powerful weapons, bosses and enemies, new areas and a completely reimagined class system.   

• Sprawling New Areas: Explore the full game's 15+ hand-crafted regions filled with secrets, terrifying bosses, and intricate pathways.

• Increased gameplay flexibility and Deep Progression: An all-new class and progression system allows you to fine-tune your Cerim warrior to your exact playstyle - Two players using the exact same weapon will play nothing alike. This flexibility is a design philosophy we have fought hard for.

• Persistent Multiplayer: Share your journey in free private realms where the world evolves even when you are offline.

• Final Story Arc: Politics. Revenge. Passion. The ending you have been theorizing about since 2024, including tons of hand crafted cinematic scenes will be part of 1.0 and it is worth every hour you have put into the Sacra.

• Endgame Content & Replayability: Test your skills in challenging new endgame activities designed for the most dedicated warriors.

🛠️ Early Access Patch Notes - Together Hotfix 9

Hey folks,

There were a few people affected by save rollbacks from prior changes. We’re including fixes that will address the two cases that were found to restore players’ saves that got rolled back.

1. The first case is for players that had varying levels of rollbacks to realms and characters (mostly for those who had missing realms that got fixed with the server maintenance). If you had this issue, you should now have your characters and realms back to where they were originally, however you will also have duplicate characters and realms from the restore.

   • If you had this issue please review the duplicate realms and characters and delete the ones you don’t want to keep

2. The second case is for players who had characters that rolled back to level 1. The data that caused this issue to occur has been fixed, but it does require a few manual steps to restore your character:

   1. Download our Moon Restore Tool here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K8GtIaSjKb_gZPB5CZpdRNs3BNoXt_24/view?usp=drive_link

   2. Launch the game.

   3. Go to [c]%USERPROFILE%\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Moon Studios\\NoRestForTheWicked\\DataStore.[/c]

   4. Before doing anything else, copy the DataStore folder to another location as a backup in case you need to revert changes.

   5. Extract MoonRestoreTool.zip in any folder.

   6. Double click [c]MoonRestoreTool.exe[/c].

   7. You will see a list of all your current characters and also the ones you played in the previous build, along with their level. Characters that are detected as being rolled back will be shown with a red tag \[ROLLED BACK].

   8. Type 1 to toggle between displaying all characters or just the ones that have been rolled back.

   9. Type 2 to restore all characters that got rolled back to their original state (whatever was there prior to the rollback). Alternatively, type 3 to restore just a single character. The list will update accordingly after any changes are made.

   10. Optionally, type 3 to undo one of the previously restored characters (the ones shown with a green tag \[RESTORED]), if something goes wrong.

   11. DO NOT try to load into any realms after this step.

   12. Relaunch the game and confirm the characters are restored, and you are free to start playing.
