What is Lost Judgment?
To the blind, it is the light.
To the hungry, it is bread.
To the sick, it is the cure.
To the lonely, it is company.
To the sad, it is joy.
To the prisoner, it is freedom.
To the poor, it is treasure.
To me, it is everything.

Easily one of the best "Yakuza" games, hands down. Both Judgement and Lost Judgement had me reevaluating my Yakuza tier list, since they stole the top spots next to Yakuza 0 and Kiwami. There were a lot of things that were improved on in this compared to Judgement, and I'd say most of the changes were great. This isn't gonna be a big in-depth review, but the story was incredible, it was more grounded in a few ways compared to the first game, but still had that grand overarching plot that made it really hit home in the Yakuza franchise.
Not to mention, it had fantastic side quests, and I loved the idea of a secondary main story sorta side quest that the School Stories did, minus one...Man, oh man, was it draining. But it still was a lot of fun having a more large sized side quest that was a nice lighthearted shift from the darkness of the main questline.

All in all, easy 10/10, even if you've never played Yakuza, Judgement and Lost Judgement are great places to start, the stories only reference the greater Yakuza universe, so you don't need to worry about things not making sense having not played the mainline games. Though, Lost Judgement does tie in a little bit more directly than the first game, but not in anyway that would leave you scratching your head. I absolutely loved this game, (even despite that gosh-forsaken Biker minigame), and I'm sure even people who've never touched Yakuza before will too.

I didn't like it. I really enjoyed the first one and the combat is better but the open world here feels empty, with most of the game's content tied to the school. The main storyline is alright, but with not much else to do I got through 3/4 of the game and didn't want to play more.

Maybe should be called "Lost Interest"?
