Flopped, do not waste your time.

If you are a new player thinking about playing this game, don't.

The progression system is designed to take an ungodly amount of time if you don't spend money, so you'll always be behind in terms of everything. There really isn't a story after you complete the season 1 storyline, which could take you 1-2 hours at most. Most classes are viable if you have the relevant imagines, which as a new player you won't so you'll likely never get invited to mid-tier or end-tier content by the community. Class balance is completely broken right now, and with the developers track record, will likely never be fixed. The only way to really place this game is with friends who won't gatekeep you over DPS or Imagines.

There have been a couple of PR blunders that have also soured the game for a lot of people, which has caused a lot of people to quit / charge back and get banned as a result.

TL:DR: The state of the game is really bad right now and not worth getting into as a new / returning player.

I do not recommend it, it's total garbage, a money-grab game, all the content is recycled, no originality, horrible class balancing, horrible story, horrible performance, the game has highly AFK content, nobody queues for any activity, the number of online players is an inflated number of AFK people doing absolutely nothing, mercenary monetization and much more.
