Hogwarts Legacy looks amazing. When you look at Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade, it feels incredible, and everything inside the castle is beautifully designed. The gameplay is fun too, especially when you experiment with different spells and potions.

But other than that, the game falls apart for me. The story is mediocre, and the voice acting is horrendous. There are barely any likeable characters in the game except for a few.

The open world also becomes too repetitive with its puzzles, and the side quests aren’t very interesting either. I would say if you’re into Harry Potter, you can give it a try, but as a Potterhead myself, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped I would.

This game is not doing it for me. It's very clunky, so not so engaging to play. I would finish the story, but it's locked behind levels, so I'd have to do boring side quests.

The state of this game is not just pathetic, its an INSULT to anyone who had the misfortune of paying for this.

For context, I first played Hogwarts Legacy on the Series S, and there it ran like a charm and looked the part too, so I ask you, how with my PC being at least twice as powerful and the game having 3 years to 'fix', does it STILL run like this?!
Im sorry, did Port Key games not get enough billions of dollars to justify ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TRYING???

This joke of software has crashed on me more times than any Bethesda game ive ever played, ive already needed to edit the damn file setting in the Player config folder, simply to get this to run!
Yet AGAIN today when I decided to try and play (emphasis on TRY), HL decided to "prepare shaders" and once again crash 10% of the way! Im so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over this.

The state of this release on PC is such a blatant insult to the PC gaming community that it genuinely feels personal!
The sheer fact this title made over $2 BILLION yet they clearly didnt give half a damn to even fix the PC port is INSANE!!!

If it isnt clear by now, I dont recommend you waste your money on this game, Port Key clearly didnt either!

For Context:
Never in all my years playing on PC have I felt such frustration at the sheer lack of effort a studio has put into the state of their release, and thats coming from someone who loved Fallout and The Elder Scrolls!
Perhaps I wouldnt be so mad if the game itself was as bad as this port, but no. HL is a solid 8/10, yet this PC port is so horrid, it brings the whole score down to 3/10 and thats being generous!

Id say do better Port Key, but youve clearly had enough years to prove you dont care!
