For those who aren't aware: While the 404 server is no longer active, you can still play arena with no random crits, no first blood, fixed spread, etc. over at http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197976965430/'s server. I will be moving there myself, though I may not be as active as before. Hope to see you there.

On Tuesday, July 11th the server will be going down. At this point I don't feel it's financially viable to continue to pay for. Numbers are dwindling lower than ever with almost no new players.

If you can, tomorrow (Monday) come play for one final night before the server terminates.

The server has been running for around 2.5 years. To everyone who's played, thank you for keeping my favorite game mode alive. It's been fun. There's a reason I haven't stopped playing after so many years. 5386 different people have played just since stats were added. Pretty amazing.

To help keep 404 active I've finally decided it's time to introduce more admins who are committed to the server. 404 is one of the last places to play true arena and I want to keep it going for as long as possible. The majority of my favorite experiences in TF2 throughout the years have been playing arena and I'm hoping we can continue to give everyone that opportunity.
