Is anyone else up for a ladder match on Sept. 13 at 9PM EST?

I have tried to schedule some matches via the ladder, but with no luck. Once the challenge starts it will be easier I hope.

What do you guys think of the idea of me posting the demos of our matches up on YouTube? Think it'll make for interesting views?

The tf2lobby matches worked out well. We could just do more of those.

Finding an empty server is not that hard, it's the possibility of people joining AFTER we find it. Either way, we need to figure this out. I'd lake to have at least one full-out practice/strategizing session before the match on Sunday.

Not a bad idea, but can anybody here host a server? Probably not much of an issue, I'm sure we can find an empty server that an fit our needs to practice in.

I'm going to be another who will request to play as Soldier preferably, lol. Then Pyro, and perhaps Spy as a 3rd option.

Some people from reddit midwest ("1001") also have a team set up. I know their team leader, so it should be easy to set up a match with that team even if we can't do it in an official-ish way through tf2lobby. The FAQ says that all teams on the wait list will actually get to play in the competition...so hopefully that's true.

we now have 11 registered on the team and we are on the wait list, so any of those 11 not reg'd on tf2lobby.com should do so. I know the great lakes reddit team would be good to scrimmage to work out our lineup. Fingers crossed that they add enough teams to let us into the comp.

Hello, I would like to say I have a ventrilo available for use and that I recommend everyone use and practice highlander at tf2lobby.com as the field of players there are highly competitive and usually on an another level than most regular pubbers. If this team has enough people willing to scrim together, I'm sure there's a highlander channel for that on quakenet or gamesurge.

futhermucker you arent showing up...you probably need to enter your steam id. you can find it by joining a server (any server) and typing status in console...the X:X:XXXXX number is the id you need to put on your profile page on etf2l.org

not sure yet...I am really just trying to get at least 10 on the roster so we can register, and then worry about who plays what class after that so we at least get a spot. I would play spy or sniper, by far my worst classes if it meant we at least got to play.

By the way, what class are we missing?
