Hey everyone!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the CS:GO Plantronics tournament that happened this past weekend. The amount of support from the amazing NZ community was humbling and we can't wait to host another one for you in the near future. Keep your eyes on the Aspect of Gaming facebook page[www.facebook.com] and on this steam group for future events.

Next in the line-up of tournaments is the StarCraft 2 Plantronics tournament, this Saturday! The event page can be found here.[www.facebook.com] Sign-ups are still open, but be sure to get in as quick as you can- spots are filling up pretty fast!

If StarCraft isn't really your fancy this weekend, we also have Hearthstone Blackrock Mountain fireside gathering events on Saturday in Auckland and Wellington. Last but certainly not least is our largest event of the year which has been ongoing since February, the DotA 2 New Zealand National 2015. The next round of this DotA2 tournament begins on the 31st of May. Any team may enter for the price of a $10 buy in (even if you have competed and been eliminated from previous rounds). Podcast #9 Minecraft party!

We've passed 1000 likes, so we want to get the gaming community all together in a Minecraft server to go nuts!

We'll be hosting a public Minecraft server and streaming for 10 hours this Sunday from 11am. The APoG crew will be online to chat with the community and engage in various challenges along the way. We look forward to putting some community build/game ideas into action (as Crash looks to destroy everything we hold dear, the damn troll) and having a blast.

Hey guys- Leni from Aspect of Gaming here.
Thanks for joining our Steam group. We thought it would be a great idea to bring our community together on Steam, I mean, as a gaming community it only makes sense!

In the future we feel that it would be awesome to run some mini community events such as hosting game lobbies during weekends (Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, CS:GO, L4D2, etc.) for everyone to play on from home. Not only is this a simple, fun idea, but it's also great for bringing the NZ gaming community together to allow all of you to meet new people to game with!

Also, feel free to post in the discussion boards about any ideas, what you'd like to see happen in the NZ gaming community, or about any other queries you have.

Obviously, this would be a lot more fun with more New Zealanders involved so please make sure to invite your friends, share our group and spread the word!
