This update switches Input-Mod over to PkR's fork of Input mod which supports additional functions built into Dreamcast Conversion for the recently restored Demo player, and also features keyboard controls options.

Charity Event

Also, a friend of the Sonic community, Procrastinator Sam is running a charity event right now called "Gotta Stay Home" where he is playing Sonic Adventure Randomizer. It is benefiting the Direct Relief charity, which is currently helping provide personal protective equipment and other items to health workers responding to COVID-19.

BetterSADX 4.4.4 is now available.

This update adds a new directsound wrapper that the new Sound Overhaul 3 by PkR now requires. In addition, it brings all the included mods up to date.

If you are running on 4.4.2 or 4.4.3, it's not crucial that you install this, but still recommended anyway for significant sound improvements.

This is hotfix update for new installs, no need to update if you recently installed BetterSADX 4.4.2.

If you installed BetterSADX 4.4.2 with Complete Dreamcast Experience, simply uncheck the "Pause Hide" mod in your SADX Mod Manager and click save.

BetterSADX 4.4 is now available.

Oh hello. I'm back on the project.

This update brings all included content up to date and adds a few mods, notably it brings back the Dreamcast Characters pack as a default mod, and includes a number of restored bits and bobs by supercoolsonic. Finally, it should also iron out a few prerequisite snafus as well.

We've also added a section on remapping Keyboard controls, as well as a Steam Controller configuration to the guide.

I still think that using a keyboard to play Sonic Adventure is a bit like shoving a square peg into a round hole though.

Last note, join our group's chat room on Steam if you want help, I'll be in there a lot in the troubleshooting channel trying to iron out bugs, and get info to the mod developers, should any legitimate mod errors come up.
