Restating our Policy on Harrasment and Toxicity

Hello Furroists,

Just wanted to make sure it was clear to everyone going forward about our policy on Harrasment and Toxicity.

We recently had an issue with a member who we have now sinced banned from our groups and chats, with whom was being toxic and harrasing moderators after he was kicked from the discord.

Rule #4) Respect all members equally.

I do my best to keeps the rules short and sweet, as I imagine we are all adults and these things should be apparent. However, recent events made it clear this wasn't enough.

Telling Furroists to kill themselves, and using demeaning hate speech is something we have a zero tolerance for.

Furthermore, if you have an issue with a moderator action, there is an appropriate way to contact a founder and appeal a ban or kick, the above is not a way. Commenting in our group and insulting the mod staff will only lead to a infraction of Rule 1.

Rule #1) Don't be dramatic. Don’t start drama. Don’t perpetuate it.

The groups comment section is not a place to stir a riot and make false allegations or continue to be toxic outside of areas we have already banned you from. You will only make your case worse by doing so.

It doesn't matter what the argument was about, it doesn't matter how wrong you felt you were, if you were banned, (which in this small, fairly freeform group I would be surprised if there wasn't a good reason) seek an appeal in a calm matter to either myself or Simplicity.

I have handpicked my small staff, and trust them to do a good job so that we can enjoy ourselves without having people bog down our group, but they will buck up and say when they are wrong. (Which the moderator who was part of the recent issue has been talked to and has admited some fault.)

I won't bring up names as I don't want to call anyone out in specific, as this is just a general thing I wanted to cover. This behavior is not, has not, and will never be tolerated.

The majority of you, this doesn't apply. I just want to make sure the people who this does apply to get the idea, and the precident is set.

Discord Rank Finder

Hey there Furroists!

Don't forget, we now have a discord server, with a few handy dandy features!

-Chat bots, that we are continously updating to provide a fun yapping enviroment for us.

-A rank finder where you can request to have your rank displayed so people know what ranks are online! A SIGNIFIGANT improvment to our current system. Now know who is your rank, and is online, and message them in our #lfg (looking for group) chat! Or PM them.

How convienient! Now on demand find furries who are online that you would like to play with, and develop a play group to climb up the ranks!

Oh, and also feel free to bring ideas and friends to play other games too! We are looking to expand to acomidate these as well. Overwatch being something I am looking into currently.

TeamSpeak is down, Discord is up!

Howdy everyone!

Teamspeak has treated us good for the past year, and although the program has been great to us, because of costs and under utilization of the clanpay contribution system of Teamspeak regulars, we are discontinuing the service.

However, to leave loyal Furroists in the dark without a way to chat with their newfound furry CSGO pals would be terrible. So an alternative is offered through Discord, which is free, usable in a browser, and in the end is more accessible than Teamspeak.

I'd like to think this is a change we would have eventually made anyway, money problems aside. The program keeps getting better, and so we will use Discord for now.

Our server is currently fairly barebones, but to be honest we had more rooms than we actually needed. However requests for new chat rooms will be met as we convert the mod team to Discord.

Hello Furroists!

We apologize for the TS downtime, but have no fear, it is back up!

As always, feel free to join us with the connection credentials in our group description.

In other news, we will be reattempting some community building events soon.exe. It requires paitence and the time to be able to do such things on the staff's part, and we thank you for your paitence.

Finally, I have noticed that people are posting their ranks and LFG (looking for group) in the comments. While you are free to do so, we encourage new users to the group to post their ranks in the discussion boards we have up for that purpose, and when they rank up to post in the appropriate board. The rank finder was designed to be a convienent way to keep everyone organized by skill group, and by looking in each forum you can see who is online, and invite them. Not using those groups defeats the purpose of the steam group in the first place, so please use them!

Rules Update and Grindr Raffle Reminder

Hello everyone!

Just an update letting you know that our Community Guidelines and Rules have been updated today. Here is our change log for this update.

Update 8/2/2015: Added Introduction, Clarified General Rules, Updated Moderation Team List, Clarified Mod Rules, added info on Group Account. Added rules for Raffles and Donations. Made Rules more visually appealing.
