made it to LVL 30 on grid 2, HD took a dump, reinstalled threw steam and lost every thing earned. I was under the impression steam saved my stats. what can be done?

Hi guys.....Just completed WSR offline. AWSOME :D Nailed it.....and I didn't cheat or use the easy modes. All but one achievment still to get on the list tho.....and I'm still trying now and then to get it.....!!? See u soon online maybe for some ideal racing.....and to see what some sweet lookin' cars are out there with awsome designs. :) AF

I am wondering if there or some groeps running with no cheating and crashing in to each other if there is who i need to contact to get in a group every evening and have some nice fair races with fun. because its getting worser and worser each week with cheating . Spinning cheat ,always end up 1st cheat wtf it isn't fun anymore then

Yeah noticed that last night while racing with you guys, kept on having to alt-tab out to communicate lol

Windows 8.1, huh? I just updated too. I got to keep my save data, but the Steam overlay isn't working specifically on GRID 2. Other Steam games work as they always did. Yay beta/previews! :P

Hey Metal_Link, people without DLC packs can not join custom lobby's with people who have them, members taking part have to buy DLC's so we can all race together, we have had this problem with other members, but soon as you can buy them you are welcome to join us anytime. We race most evenings and nights [GMT time zone] on public playlists so you can always join us there for fair racing when your available, hope to race with you soon.....

I don't own any of GRID 2's DLC yet. Would there be any future events where DLC cars/maps are not a requirement?

Hahaha.. Had my first kick and ban today :D haaahahahahaha.. won 4 out of the 4 races i did..

Yea, that was odd getting such a small initial download.
Really enjoying the game so far, but the game won't start when Fraps is running. I have to exit fraps, start Grid 2, wait till I enter the garage, then alt-tab to the desktop and re-start fraps, then maximize Grid2. And,as long as I avoid certain menu items it works. A bit disappointing that.
But none-the less, I do quite like the game so far.

Hi Budcraft, Steam will download game files for GRID 2 to your PC now so the game will be downloaded and ready but will be unplayable until release date, download will say 345 MB then once you restart Steam it will say 5.7GB when finished.
