Steam Controller Battery Status Icon in Steam Desktop Client

Can we please have this. I dont play in BigPicture Mode so I would like to see the Battery Status in the Desktop Steam Client. Like a small Icon next to the Notification Bell or something like that.

We added it to the desktop overlay in-game in the upper left corner but for the main client UI we don't currently display that info anywhere outside of controller settings. The low battery notification will start firing each time you connect with under 20% battery life (~7.2hours).

Thank you. I didn´t notice it was displayed in the in-game overlay. And the 20% warning is fair enough.

That's fine, but couldn't we get the info when not in a game as well? Maybe even as hidden as in the context menu of the tray icon? I would love to see whether I have to charge it or not without having to start a game, and I don't use big picture mode.
