I'm surprised that it's gone. The current system is completely terrible and messy to the point where I don't even bother searching for games on steam which means less game sales. With Deep Dive I found over a dozen games of interest in one day. It was simple, highly effective and, fun.

Deep Dive exposed me to games I otherwise would have never heard of or discovered in any capacity. Really unfortunate it's gone.

I really liked it since it did give me a couple of neat picks even though it always eventually led to Final Fantasy XIV.

The issue is too many games are Open World Action Adventure Sandbox RPG that throws every game into a general category and is almost impossible to pick out unless you are actively searching for it.

What they should do, if they decide to bring it back, is have something like a greenlight or "What game do you think people would enjoy like this?" and enter a game or two. Kind of like Community Recommendations only a bit more moderated.

Example, I'm done playing RUNNING WITH RIFLES and there's a button that says "What else do you play like this?" If I don't, I skip. Otherwise I could put in something like Teleglitch which is another twin-stick shooting game. Or maybe I could write in Awesomenauts because it's a 2D action game.

If they narrow the search instead of pulling games with all the tags, it would be much better. Maybe mix Interactive Recommender with it and it would be absolutely perfect since that essentially works like DD only it has its own issues.

Please bring back deep dive, it made it fun to search for games on Steam. It was a wonderful tool.

I agree, this is one of the most useful "experiment", i wish they'll bring it back.

This was my favourite. We could mix NECESSARY games (not all our good games). The process was like a game
