The alpha is better then everyone expected I think, atleast it is for me! It runs pretty smoothly and I haven't encountered a single bug so far, besides a launch issue that can be solved easily. I still have to try the showcase missions, been spending my time in the editor and exploring the Island up to now!

Wow! Just tried Infantry showcase, one word....brilliant! Graphics in Dx11 look awesome, i have a AMD 7870 and i put everything on either very high or ultra and runs like a dream. Seems much better optimised this time around. The combat is excellent. Only played about 45 mins though as really tired but first impressions...very very good! Performance wise even though its Dx11 it seems to run much better than Arma 2 but that might be cos 7870 is a Dx11 card and would run it better than if in DX9 or Dx10 which i guess Arma 2 is?

Just signed up for it and am about to download after being at work all day. The videos you posted Bootsy look good mate! Anyone played it? First thoughts?

Yeah definitely, so much new stuff to try out! Specially curious about how the perfomance is compared to arma 2.
