I just want a console interface on PC. Is that too much to ask?
The Steam overlay (guide button) opens every other time I'm in a game. Or rather, it opens, but I can't see it (though I can still hear the navigation sound).

Navigating through the store tabs works intermittently; there's a constant "hit-the-wall" sound, and nothing happens.

And with the new Xbox mod, the system starts conflicting with the guide button, opening both the Xbox overlay and Steam simultaneously, despite all the settings with the Xbox menu being disabled.

Seriously, I came from consoles. I'm a very casual gamer, and the only thing I want is to play and never see the Windows interface, since I use a Mac for work. But for the last month, hoping to get a "PC like a console," I haven't been playing, but constantly fiddling with the settings.

I'm fed up.
