Happytown 3.0 is now in a Sunset State

Happytown 3.0 was created on February 26th 2016 after the R29 Claim system was introduced. Our Olde World has seen many new members and visitors over the years, but things have gotten quiet, and the world is starting to show its age.

As of March 18th 2018 we switched the world to a Sunset State. Current members are welcome to visit and build, but we're no longer accepting new members. We've left the lights on for you though...

Daithi (DaithiDubh) Update

One of our Happytown residents has left us today. Daithi hasn't been playing much as he has been fighting cancer this year. This morning he was rushed to the hospital with breathing problems, and died not long after.

You may not see much of myself or Aene during the next few weeks, as we are the ones that are taking care of all the arrangements (legal and the such) for our passed friend.

Clear Your Cache File!

Someone is running around Happytown with a corrupted cache file. This is causing some strange anomolies such as chest and blocks going missing, or rearnaging themselves. A full chest of Iron went missing in Happytown Harbour a couple of days ago. So...before you re-enter Happytown...CLEAR YOUR CACHE FILE!....Yes, I'm yelling!

Here is how to clear that cache file:

On Windows[community.intuit.com], you'll delete the contents of this folder: /Users/[user]/AppData/LocalLow/PlayfulCorp/Creativerse
On OS X[hints.macworld.com], you'll delete the contents of this folder: /Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/PlayfulCorp/Creativerse

Happytown 3.0 Public Forum Now Open

To better showcase what Happytown is all about, and too address the issues some of us admin have had with Steam's changes to private forums, we have started a public forum group. (Mainly the inability of some of us to even invite friends to this group.)

I have already have the basic foundations of this forum moved over to the new one, so go ahead and join up.

With all the recent news and changes, our anniversary passed us by! February 27th, Happytown 3.0 became one year old!

Because of our dedicated, thoughtful and very creative crew of builders, Happytown has flourished, becoming one of the most well-reputed worlds and a pillar of the community. Even now, builds continue, with the massive expansion of the Happy Harbour and the many community builds that have sprouted around the world.

To each and every player that has contributed to our community, thank you most sincerely. Whether you are a builder, a gatherer, a planner, a media-maker, you have helped our world and its creations grow into what it is today.

Speaking personally, I feel very grateful to be a part of a caring group of crafters and community leaders. Thank you for keeping in touch and pushing Happytown forward.

The ownership of Happytown 3.0 and Happytown Communities has been migrated to my account. Thank you Brainsloth ;) The dificulty has been set to normal in HT 3.0, so when you die you'll be able to collect a deathstone. The world owner name has remained as RealGrumm if you need to search for the world.
