      <title>The DFS Encore</title>
      <description>Hey again! It's been a long while since my last post here, huh?&lt;br&gt;It is almost the &lt;b&gt;twelfth&lt;/b&gt; birthday of Dispenz0r's Fun Server already, and I can't believe that it has already almost been a year since our big finale event.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Perhaps you were (once again) expecting a reboot of the servers, or some sort of new DFS game.&lt;br&gt;But we have something else a little special prepared for you instead.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;To be quite honest, I had been saving this video for something big, or to post it during the day of the 12th birthday of DFS, but who has the time or patience for that, right?       <title>Finale Event Schedule</title>

      <title>DFS Finale: Continuation</title>

      <title>DFS: The Finale</title>
      <description>Hey all! It's still hard to believe that it's been months since the &lt;b&gt;tenth&lt;/b&gt; birthday of DFS, isn't it?&lt;br&gt;Life has been changing a lot in the last few years which I'm sure a lot of you can relate to, time flies really fast doesn't it? After a ton of changes and a multitude of drafts or so of this announcement, it is finally ready to be posted.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I'm sure many of you came in with a lot of different expectations, ranging from a reboot of the servers to continuation of that ancient DFS RPG game. But this announcement is for a different cause; a very important message to the entire DFS community.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div class=&quot;bb_h1&quot;&gt;A Message to the DFS Community&lt;/div&gt;First of all, I wish to thank everyone who has been a part of Dispenz0r's Fun Server in any way during its lifetime.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The community regulars who've always been actively playing and shitposting in the servers, those who stuck around from the earlier days, Moderators who have watched over the servers so often to keep things clean and fun for everyone, Developers who have contributed exceptional, unique and unparalleled kind of content &amp;amp; support for the servers, even the individuals who vowed revenge after being banned; thank you so much for being a part of this wild ride.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It's truly been a long time, one filled with amazing and wonderful moments, it has been a one of a kind experience for me and I'm sure many others too. We started this as a stupid little friends server and ended up as a stupid big friends server.&lt;br&gt;I've seen so many come and go, so many friendships and memories being made, I've even had the honor of having DFS partake in multiple TF2 charity events in the past, and it truly has been heartwarming.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As for myself, DFS is where I grew up. I was so &lt;i&gt;extremely&lt;/i&gt; young back then that I had the not so smart idea of implementing paid admins, but all that side of the past aside, I was really enjoying crafting and doing all sorts of new things with the servers and having many others enjoy my experiments brought me bliss. Unfortunately, the same sort of free time is no longer available to me and I'm sure many others too. We all wish we could go back to our childhood when there used to be seasonal major TF2 updates now don't we? &lt;br&gt;Sadly, not everything lasts forever, and shouldn't be forced to. All good things eventually must come to an end.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;What made DFS unique was.. quite frankly, varied few and far between, most of the gamemodes were taken from other communities, our only exclusive gamemode Sandbox was inspired purely by Gmod. The maps were weird but pretty and unique in their own way, the playermodels that brought wackiness to the servers, the plugins being the heart &amp;amp; core of the servers.&lt;br&gt;But it was always the community and its evolution that made DFS very special, and it is not something that I can easily get back.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As sad as it is for me to say this, I have personally moved on and currently have no intention of returning to tending the DFS servers due to the lack of motivation, the ideas I have had for DFS will need to move on as well.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;All that being said; The DFS TF2 servers will be taken down by March 10th, 2023. &lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Important note:&lt;/b&gt; The closure &amp;amp; finale date is &lt;b&gt;not&lt;/b&gt; set in stone. DFS was still a private server that was a playground for a small group of friends, amidst all the goofiness, I started pondering how much of a waste it would be to not preserve those hilarious moments in any way.
That was the beginning for series we know as 'Meet The Random Fortress' today. What was once meant to be a random compilation for close friends to see, became an early 2010’s TF2 phenomenon. 
Ever since, the series has been walking hand in hand with the server itself as being a compilation of joyful memories and footage recorded from server events.
After ten long memorable years, the golden days have passed and we all have new horizons up ahead in our lives. It is time to formally end the series along with the servers’ closure as thanks for the past years, new friends and wonderful memories. 
I am grateful to all the staff, members, visitors and viewers for making this series a long-running possibility, we've created memories I'll always cherish.

DFS is not just about being a community within a game. It was a gateway to making lots of new friends I would never have met otherwise.

      <title>10 Years With DFS</title>
      <description>Exactly today, ten years ago, I decided to start a server as a fun space for myself and my friends, having no idea how big of an experience and a journey it'd become for not only me but many others.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;What started as a small fun pastime, despite me being very young at the time alongside with my lack of experience, ended up growing into a large and fantastic community of its own, which I'm still grateful for. Most of you should already know the history of this community thanks to the previous anniversary announcements, so I'll keep it short and concise for you all.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thank you all (incredibly humbling &lt;i&gt;120,000~&lt;/i&gt; players to be exact) for giving this server a chance and helping shape its history, creating so many pleasant memories over so many years for myself and the entire community. &lt;br&gt;It has truly been an extraordinary ride filled with so many memories for me and knowing that many others feel the same fills my heart with joy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;To celebrate, we've prepared you something special to celebrate our decade-long run in the TF2 community. Things have been quiet, but we're still very much around and are dedicated to making your experience as enjoyable as possible.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We're still very much around, much especially thanks to all of you and your support, the community can &lt;i&gt;really&lt;/i&gt; make a big difference, and I'm grateful enough to keep things going for my passion project, DFS.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We'll be mainly focusing on getting back on track this year, overhauling a bunch of things and gathering your feedback so we can make your gameplay experience in the DFS servers as enjoyable as possible.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Here is a current list of what we are aiming to do by this year:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Releasing &lt;b&gt;DFS Sandbox 2.0&lt;/b&gt; - Lots of improvements and various new features added over the current DFS Sandbox gamemode including but not limited to&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul class=&quot;bb_ul&quot;&gt;&lt;li&gt;Overall much smoother and less clunky gameplay, the &amp;quot;friendly&amp;quot; experience will now be ported into DFS Sandbox instead. Everyone will still be allowed to mess around with their favorite commands but the main gameplay experience will be Sandbox focused.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Physics Gun - Everyone's favorite weapon from Garry's Mod but in TF2, allowing you to move, place and rotate your constructions better!&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Tool Gun - Allows you to customize your prop in several different ways, including allowing/disallowing prop collisions.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Addition of more props in general.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Releasing &lt;b&gt;dfs.tf 3.0&lt;/b&gt; - We're aiming to entirely re-design our website, we're aiming to add new features including but not limited to&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul class=&quot;bb_ul&quot;&gt;&lt;li&gt;An inventory system where players will be able to see and equip their own items, modules, playermodels and pets.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A shop system, similar to the DFS shops but accessible as a website experience! You'll be able to use your credits to purchase items, pets and modules from the shops. We also aim to update these shops with new content as well.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;An updated profile page where users will be able to see of their DFS stats, badges, item inventory and more.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;And even more! We'll make sure to keep you updated as our new website is being developed.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Allowance/Friendly will be &lt;i&gt;completely&lt;/i&gt; removed from Vanilla (formerly known as Competitive) mode and be &lt;u&gt;&lt;i&gt;only&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/u&gt; kept for the DFS Sandbox experience. This might upset some, but we think this is for the better, as we've very much realized that friendly is not a fun experience in any gamemode besides in DFS Sandbox.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;We'll also soon be posting a DFS 2022 Survey, we're hoping to be able to gather your thoughts and opinions regarding your experience in DFS overall. Your feedback is very important to us and is greatly appreciated, we'll be rewarding each participant with a special prize!&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Our third new main map currently in development by NotNihilanth will also be dropping sooner or later! We wouldn't like to spoil the surprise but I'll drop a quick hint and say that it is one of the more popular GMod maps specially reconstructed over to TF2 just for the DFS community.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Implementing an easier to use chat system, we think that our current system is a bit too complex and difficult to get around with and understand, we'll be working on revamping the system to be much easier and simpler to both understand and use overall.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;We'll be adding new and unique self-made VSH and SF2 bosses through this year, crafted with love and as always, custom animations and sounds.&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul class=&quot;bb_ul&quot;&gt;&lt;li&gt;We might also look into adding newer self-made/ported custom playermodels for players to use, but no promises, as we're very much aware that we have too many playermodels, and do not wish to bloat your downloads too much.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Finally finalizing and implementing the monthly donation reward system, new and unique rewards will be given to our donors each month.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;We're also hoping to do more seasonal campaigns and put out unreleased content including new pets and modules.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;And even more surprises we wouldn't like to spoil you on, that will hopefully come throughout the year!       <title>DFS Nine Year Anniversary Update!</title>
      <description>&lt;b&gt;Can you all believe it? It's been a miraculous NINE whole years since I've first launched DFS, crazy to think how fast time passes huh? A lot has changed since then and I'm honestly not only quite shocked but truly grateful that this wonderful community has managed to keep going for this long, and hopefully even more!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I was nothing more than a very young wee child when I first launched DFS, having no idea how far it'd go or how big it'd become, one thing I can say is that it has been a very long and amazing journey I've enjoyed taking with all of you. I'll admit now that I unfortunately don't have much free available time to focus on my passion project as much as I could in the past, so I've been slowly passing the torch away to some very cool and capable people who will give their best to keep you all happy and the DFS community going forward throughout the future!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;But for now I've prepared you all a big server update that I hope you all will be able to enjoy and have a great time with!       <title>DFS Has Been Moved To New Servers!</title>
