Season 4 Begins

Hey everyone, welcome to Season 4 of ScoutzLeague.

We have 18 teams competing in two divisions, and we're looking to have our most competitive season yet. For those of you new to the league who have questions, feel free to ask them, the staff and other league members are usually happy to help out.

As to the schedules: if a team you are playing against for a given week is red, you are the away team. If they are blue, you are the home team for the match.

If your team has not been listed, your leaders have decided that playing in SL-O is best for them.

THE PRESEASON RULES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

- All matches are to be played according to S4 SL rules posted HERE.
- Preseason will be played as a pool (similar to the tourney) - get as many matches in as you can with as many of the above teams as possible.
- Teams will receive 3 points for a win and -1 point for a loss.
- The teams with the 4 highest point totals at the end of the preseason week will get an automatic BYE into SL-invite.
- Preseason IS ACTIVE NOW and will END AT 11:59 PM ON SUNDAY, MARCH 9. Get those matches played and post them in the forums NOW!!!
- The team leaders will then hold a discussion thread on these and decide on the final 1-3 teams that will receive an invitation to SL-I, based on how well they did in preseason, which teams they played against, and previous performance.
- After these decisions are made, there will be somewhere between 8-10 teams placed in the SL-Invite division and between 6-8 in the SL-Open division.

SEASON 4

Hello to all the new Fiucl^ members and to the old as well...

just wanted to let yall know season 4 of SL starts March 1st.

However, the preseason week which determines whether we play in the Open or Invite division will run from 2/22 to 2/28.

I want to be sure that we get into the Invite division seeing as that is where the better teams will be playing and i want to make sure we not only have fun but also play good teams.

So, hopefully i'll have 3 of yall on during that week to play, i'll let yall know what time and day as soon as they tell me..so be ready! start practicing!!

Update..

For those of you who don't know yet, my house got hit pretty hard by hurricane Ike, i'm not able to stay there atm and i'm at my aunt's house..

i went ahead and installed steam but i'm not sure if i'm going to install cs here..

SO...

i need someone to take control of the matches and scheduling and make sure yall are able to play..

this means yall need to actually start talking to your teammates lol..

hopefully yall can play sometime tomorrow, yall play against AF (Attack Frogs) and 1993..

the default match times are

SATURDAY:
6:00pm Fiucl^ vs /1993/

SUNDAY:
9:00pm fiucl vs AF!

Please, try to at least just have 3 people on at these times and in the SL server so yall can at least just play a match...

if i HAVE to.. i'll dl CS but i'm really hoping yall can pull through on this one..

Hey guys just wanted to let yall know we now have 2, i repeat TWO wins under our belts... thanks to SKlovers and No need for Noob's Forfeits!! lol so now our score as of now is 2-7... so let's get cracking and try to come back so we can have at least an even score if not positive.. Tomorrow we might have a match against Relgam so let's come out with a win.!! It supposed ot be around 9 Est so hopefully some of yall are on so we can get it done earlier in the week instead of always waiting till the last minute. Also.. let's try to get some pugs in..so whenever i see 3 people on i'm going to start asking yall if you want to pug or what not.. so be ready!!

Fiucl vs eSk and wyF

Hey guys just wanted to let yall know this week (our third week of SL) is going to be a tough one, i wanna go out and give it our best when we play both eSk and wyF so let me know if you're interested in playing and i'll try to set up a time to make it work...

We need to start practicing as a team more..all of us are very good but as a team..not so much..

Hey guys,
we need to set up what days would be best for us to have our matches. So i want to know what time of the day yall are available and what days of the week.

As yall most likely all know, i don't know too much about SL and this is my first time being a part of it, so i'm going to try to do my best.

Our first matches are against 'skR and -|tU|- so let's be ready for them.

We need to also begin practicing together to see who works well with who and what not.

Any questions feel free to ask.
