Help with high AvgDisplayMS and standard deviation
While streaming from my PC to my Mac, I am seeing very good stats in all categories besides AvgDisplayMS and its associated SD:

"AvgClientBitrate" "189.504989624023438"
"StdDevClientBitrate" "38.8881111145019531"
"AvgServerBitrate" "97139.0078125"
"StdDevServerBitrate" "214307.859375"
"AvgLinkBandwidth" "878136.75"
"AvgPingMS" "0.194642603397369385"
"StdDevPingMS" "0.0944627970457077026"
"AvgCaptureMS" "1.07145988941192627"
"StdDevCaptureMS" "0.394691735506057739"
"AvgConvertMS" "0.00446365727111697197"
"StdDevConvertMS" "0.0109643759205937386"
"AvgEncodeMS" "2.69067525863647461"
"StdDevEncodeMS" "0.709964752197265625"
"AvgNetworkMS" "2.27877950668334961"
"StdDevNetworkMS" "0.923035740852355957"
"AvgDecodeMS" "2.01327967643737793"
"StdDevDecodeMS" "0.286167293787002563"
"AvgDisplayMS" "2.55675983428955078"
"StdDevDisplayMS" "6.01289939880371094"
"AvgFrameMS" "12.179595947265625"
"StdDevFrameMS" "6.69081354141235352"
"AvgFPS" "143.96026611328125"
"StdDevFPS" "27.5719261169433594"

How do I improve this stat? It seems this is causing 90% of my total variance in frame MS as all other SDs are far below 1ms.

While streaming if I watch the graph I will see it hold ~9ms total latency for 20 seconds or so then have spikes up to consistent levels before dropping back down to 9. Looks somewhat similar to a square wave, just not uniform in pulse width or amplitude.

on the client side, enable hardware decoding/acceleration

6ms to display is not high
whats the refresh rate on the client?
60hz = 16.6ms, 144hz = 6.9ms

This is at 144hz. I know the overall stats are good, but I’m trying to reduce variance since the SD is 6ms for “DisplayMS” alone, making up 90% of my total 6.6ms “FrameMS” SD.

I am using hardware decode, and have little variance or latency on decode specifically (DecodeMS avg is 2ms with 0.2ms SD). I guess I’m just not even sure what “DisplayMS” represents and how I could improve it?
its fine, still only a frame or two behind the host pc
thats normal

I know its "fine" and I know my stats overall are good, I just literally don't know what "DisplayMS" represents or how to improve it. Right now its my worst stat with the most variance, so if I could figure out how to improve it, I'd love to do that.

Even on this log writeup here: https://aqua.hsduabhb-nmzhi.cf/groups/homestream/discussions/0/540733523404402134/
it seems the only stat with no notes on how to improve is "DisplayMS."

I'm not looking for opinions on whether or not my setup is "fine" or "noticeable." I'm trying to minimize all latency and it seems no one know how to control this variable.
