Mwave CGPL Autumn 2016 Announcement

2016 is here, and its time once again for the CyberGamer Premier League. We wish to welcome everyone to the Mwave CGPL Autumn 2016 event and share with you guys some of the exciting new changes taking place this time around.

Mwave CGPL Autumn is the first in a number of offline national events we have planned through out the year, and its also going to be the year of firsts. On two occasions in the past CGPL has hosted two games (CSGO and League of Legends in 2013) but this is the first time we will be hosting three titles, and introducing the PlayStation division to CGPL. We are excited to undertake this new challenge and hope you guys enjoy it just as much.
All three titles battling it out for a total prize pool of over $18,000*

* Counter Strike Global Offensive
Headlining CGPL once again is CSGO. Being the inaugural title of CGPL since 2013 and only a no show on two occasions we are excited to see a full season of the Division One teams battling it out to have their chance to be crowed national champions over the two day weekend. With a number of exciting changes to CSGO on CyberGamer for 2016 this is the competition and title to see who will be the monsters of 2016.

* BlackOps III
For the first time since 2013 we have a Call of Duty title back in the mix, swapping out promod and PC's for cybernetic boosting and a controller. That's right, for the first time ever CGPL welcomes PlayStation to join us in the excitement on Sunday 17th for one lucky team to be crowned CGPL Champions.

* Rocket League
Another first for CyberGamer is bringing a sports game into the world of FPS LAN finals. Where PC meets console, and ball meets, umm... car. That's right, the hugely successful cross platform title Rocket League will be joining us on Sunday the 17th where the top 4 teams will be ramming it out for the prestigious title of CGPL Champions.

Mwave CGPL Autumn will be on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April 2016. CSGO is scheduled over both days with BlackOps III Saturday and Rocket League scheduled on Sunday 17th.

Due to the age restrictions for BlackOpsIII Saturday will be restricted to 18+ inside of meeting room 6b. A valid ID card will be required for all participants and spectators.

Mwave CGPL Autumn 2016 will be hosted at Australian Technology Park in Sydney, just 5 minutes from the CBD in meeting rooms 6a and 6b.
