this is a VPK that will change your weapon sounds. and i have to say its pretty sweet. Just drop it in your addons folder which can be found following this path (this is also the same place that you drop other vpk files such as user created maps):

steam --> steamapps --> common --> left 4 dead 2 --> left4dead2 --> addons
