requires Uplay. 0/5 stars for that alone.

once i got into the game, you are faced with an unskippable intro sequence that is so long, it makes the one from Skyrim seem short.

The writing is beyond terrible. Its unrealistic and reminds of the worst action B movies from the 80's. You'll like this game if you're like the guy from Clerks who says "ohhhhhh, NAVY SEALS!"

after the unskippable intro garbage ended, you walk around the camp around bad guys with the dumbest stealth system ever created. You can walk in plain view of anyone as long as you crouch, Stevie Wonder has better vision than the NPCs in this game.

Once that was done, you start running from the bad guys in what appears to be a "AAA" version of an endless runner game for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ android phone, complete with quicktime events, like "mash the space bar".

You might think the game would start after this, but no...Im in some other camp...at which point I decided to come write this review, because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...15 minutes have gone by and there is no game in this game yet.

I give this game Negative 5 stars out of 5 stars.

cash grab. publisher and developer are shady AF. I got a refund for this from steam because they used false advertising.

they added a bunch of Microtransactions turning this game into a pile of crap. I would avoid this developer and publisher entirely.

awesome game.

ill go over the cons first: you wont want to play with keyboard/mouse, even though they are supported, you really want a gamepad (or two for co-op) for this game. long intro screens are a pain, they are supposed to be skippable, but its inconsistant at best. the game doesnt really offer any challenge in difficulty. its meant for kids, so even though you have a certain amount of health, you have unlimited lives and just respawn instantly on death. (there may be some higher difficulty modes or options i havnt found yet) most of the challenge lies in finding the right objects, hidden triggers, or parts of the scenery to manipulate with the correct characters abilites to move the gameplay along. occasionally you may have to lookup the solution online if you cant figure out what to do.

the good: ITS LEGO! ITS MARVEL! if you like both of these things, and can take a break from hardcore gaming, you will like this game. despite the lack of challenge, the action is fun. with tons of characters, there are a bunch of abilites and mechanics to use in and out of combat. the voice acting is not bad! there is a lot of humor for adults, and references to the comics and lore for the enthusiasts. aside from the various levels, there is also a decent size open world to run around in...something like a lego cartoon version of GTA, if you will. complete with driveable vehicles. the story is ok, and just like the comics, the action is always moving. there is also a ton of replay in this game. its made to keep kids busy, so there is lots of stuff to unlock, you can go back and replay levels to collect hidden things, and gain other perks.

this is a fantastic game to have in your library, even if it wont be your favorite or most played game...especially if you have any younger kids around, that might visit, or you might want to entertain. it would keep them glued and the best part is you could play it with them and really enjoy it.
