This game has got to be one of my favourite games to be released within the last decade.
The artstyle and visuals, the core gameplay and the interactions are some of the best out of any game.

I just wish that there would be more players within the OCE playerbase as it gets tedious seeing the same people over and over again, espescially if some of them are hackers. This isn't the Developers fault, but a reason to dislike nonetheless.

If you haven't played it then I would 100 percent recommend that you do.

Game is fun and definitely a lot easier to play than Tarkov. I enjoy playing it.
The BIGGEST downside I've found to this game is the same downfall to every other game nowadays. Oceanic servers are just littered with the same feral disease that is Chinese Players, I played roughly 20 rounds in a session with mates and probably came across actual players 6 of those times. The rest of the time it is chinese accounts with bots controlling them to try and get some expensive skins and resell accounts (That's my guess anyway).

The fights I did have with real players were excellent though, genuinely tactical and came down to sheer knowledge and skill. The gunplay is excellent, the weapons feel like they have some heft to them and it isn't a tedious mission to get gear either. Generally I put botters in the same pool as hackers, but in the sense of aimbotters and whatnot, we hadn't come across a single one in our journey as of yet.

The menu's are very chaotic and intrusive, it is quite difficult to figure out where anything is in the menu. I didn't even know I had crates to open until I saw a little button at the top of the storage menu.3
It took me way to long to figure out what these tickets were for that I was finding in raids. They are from a current event and you need to collect X amount to purchase a level (or something along those lines...). Tooltips or menu tips would be very beneficial.
Modding weapons through the UI is very simple and easy to use, same with gearing your character with Armor/Backpacks.

Probably no point asking because no company will ever sort it out but if they get rid of these chinese bot accounts and consolidate the lobbies with actual players (It's not rocket science to stop bot accounts, there are plenty of ways to stop them) then the game would be a solid 8/10. For now, it is sitting at a 5/10 for me but I do recommend the game to those that enjoy slow-medium paced extraction shooters.

I have tried so hard to enjoy this game espescially after getting falsely banned from Battlefield 2042. I needed a game to replace the large-scale war feeling only found in Battlefield and this game hit it. Unfortunately however, the game is full of blatant hackers with chinese names, as is the case with many games nowadays, chinese hackers have overrun it and the chinese developers won't ever do anything to stop them.

The gunplay is quite fun, there is however the obvious 4 heavy hitters everyone uses and the rest of the weapons whither and die.
Vehicles are janky and very unbalanced on the weak side. Still cant understand how I got hitmarkers from a tank shell direct hit on a player?...
Helicopters, don't even bother. Roblox has better controls and better mechanics.

The average Delta Force player is a cod fan boy that wanted larger maps. No such thing as revives even when they are playing the Medic class. All you see is people bunny hopping across the landscape. People just sprint around and shoot, there is no team mechanics primarily because everyone does there own thing, it is solely fight for yourself.

Operations

It was fun, but very repetitive...Go in, kill the boss, loot some stuff, fight some bots and then die to a chinese hacker or manage to escape. Never any different, but thats just extraction shooters now.

Early Access Review
Bought the game after not even realising it was coming to PC. Somewhat excited to play with a couple mates. Quickly realised we couldn't invite eachother and had to just meet up with eachother in game, it was not hard to find matches together purely because of 5 minute queue times. None of us enjoyed this, there would be multiple of us against the other 2/3 players.

There are no OCE servers as far as we could tell, desync was horrific. You would start shooting at someone, see blood pouring out of them but no damage, the enemy would then just turn around and shoot you.
It is very obvious that it's a console port, the gameplay and UI is designed for console peasants.

Game has been refunded and I will potentially look at getting it again in the future when it is actually worth my time/money.

Lets start off by saying that the negative reviews are just plane stupid. The issues people are bringing up are either A) To be expected from a brand new game. B) Trolls.

I haven't had any major issues apart from 1 crash in about 15 missions played. The game looks and runs amazingly, we play with a squad of 4 and no issues at all. I saw one bloke say that the SOS beacon is broken, but it isn't. People have there own friends to play with or are just AFK in the menu.

I completely recommend this game, it is amazing and very fun to play. It also gets VERY difficult.

So the game started off like any other battlefield, full of bugs and a lack of content. I still really enjoyed it. Until it all came crashing down.

I stopped playing for about a week because of huge amounts of lag from my computer, so I upgraded my graphics card and decided to play after full release date. As soon as I logged in, I was met with a notification that my account was disabled. I contacted support and I was banned for hacking/going against their terms of use...I was gobsmacked, still am. The support team wouldn't supply me with a genuine reason or any evidence that I was cheating. I did some research and I am not the first and i'm sure I won't be the last to receive a ban for no reason. Apparently ICUE causes a false positive through easy anti cheat (which is one of the worst anti cheats ever made). I wasted 150 dollars on this garbage and they won't even offer me any help, all I got from there support was "Don't expect any further responses". Pathetic, don't waste your money.

Who the ♥♥♥♥ would risk losing a steam account like mine, EA are a bunch of thick skulled idiots *dusts hands*

The Hunter was one of the most enjoyable games I have played in a long time, talking about the subscription based version, not this. It brought a whole new type of hunting, with realistic animal behaviour to a whole variety of weapons and game. Maps were polished and had a lot of effort put into them. Now we have Call of the Wild, a complete spit in the face of the game. Look, the game is fun, but it needs some serious grit sandpaper to get the masses of crap out of the bug sheet and content lack there-of. Not only do you have to buy the game, you also have to pay for the DLC. The company has gone to a money grab scenario, the fact you have to pay for every new bit of content is an absolute joke. I pray they see this review and pull there head out, i'm seriously dissapointed and annoyed over the fact that they have done this, and because of it I can't recommend it. The game is fun for about 20 minutes of hunting, then you start to realise how basic and underdeveloped it is.

Garry's Mod has provided me with many hours of enjoyment. The game is FULL of gamemodes, ranging from Sandox, where you create contraptions to gamemodes within gamemodes.

Pros
  • Very affordable
  • Hours of fun
  • Does not require a beefy computer
  • Wide array of mods and addons
  • Gamemodes galore
  • Large community
  • Easy to learn the basics
  • Very technical wiring mechanics

    Cons ~
    • Can be a cancerous community
    • Some servers have very poor administration
    • You'll lose your life

Overall, I give this game a 8/10. Audio/Visuals are amazing, the game is a very open canvas even when heavily modded. The skies the limit.

ArmA 3, an excellent game for those who are looking for realism and hours of fun. In this game, you will be faced with many different gamemodes, from standard Mil Sim to Go Kart Racing. Modding is a very large factor in ArmA 3, the sky is the limit in terms of it. Bohemia Interactive are a very developed and active team, who are constantly releasing updates and great Paid DLC.

Positives ~
  • Hours of enjoyment
  • A wide array of Weaponry and Vehicles to use
  • Massive community
  • Many game modes to keep you intrigued
  • Many modifications to further improve your experience

    Cons ~
    • Can be quite resource intensive if you have a slow PC
    • Fairly technical with it's controls and weapon systems, takes practice
    • Quite a hefty price tag for some people

The Positives of this game far outweigh the Cons, it is definitely worth the money they are asking for. If you ever played ArmA 2, then this game is for you.

    See you on the battlefield!

Okay, before I get into the actual review of this game i'd like to point out the amount of sarcastic and painful reviews this game has gotten. This review is going to be how a review should be, not a bunch of idiots slapping there head into a keyboard and spelling words.

Scroll down for summary.

Lets get started with the review.

The gameplay is solid with very few/minor bugs and glitches. Graphics are Amazing, and it runs like a dream.

You are given a basic rifle and a license to hunt "Mule Deer", in this case you go into the starter map and use your Huntermate to track the deer with sound/prints and you track it down, shoot it, capture the photo.
This is all a "Starter Player" can do, this is only a TASTE at the game, which is what people don't understand.

If you want to start hunting other small/large game, you must purchase a membership which ranges in prices from 9.99 USD - 49.99 USD.

After buying a membership, you can still use the same gun or you may buy another, the choice is in your hands.

There is multiple maps to fit peoples liking, with different game, ranging from Rabbits to Bears.

Summary.

Pro's
____________________

- Amazing graphics

Cons
___________________

- Prices for memberships are a bit steep

- Can get boring if you're playing alone (Without a membership)
