All time classic, great with a bigger group of friends that just need something to play, especially considering the free mobile version.

A great sequel, one that still gets tons of community support to this day. The co-op mode is excellent and very worth bringing a friend along.

I haven't ever played Wario Land, the game that inspired this, however I can definitely say that this game is one worth playing through. It's got such a unique charm that I haven't seen quite like it since flash games were popular.
Nevermind the fact that when this game was new I saw it referenced in a ton of different places. It definitely had a great effect on everyone that knew anything about it.

I swing around my hammer and a monster dies, I take it's parts and make a bigger hammer, just to kill a bigger monster. I take it's parts and make an even bigger hammer, which allows me to kill even bigger monsters.

Yeah that's basically the whole game, very enjoyable. :)

A humourous game that dumbs down the challenge from The Witeness into a very accessible and enjoyable puzzle game. Worth playing through at least once.

A very interesting outlook into what it's like to have schizophrenia. Very cool sequel.

This game is very unique and very deserving of all the praise it's gotten since launch. I'm sure I don't have to mention anything of what makes the game so good, as you've likely already heard it all, but I'd like to reiterate that the art direction, open world, and creative writing all come together to weave something that's never quite been done before. Combining souls-like mechanics, with ones from gameboy era Zelda, with modern quality of life features reminiscent of Silksong or other metroidvanias.

It's very unfortunate that the demo isn't available anymore, as I would highly recommend anyone to at least play that before they give this game a go, as it definitely showcases what the game is about in less than an hour. However if it's unavailable to you then I'd personally say this game is just worth the outright purchase.

Most of my playtime was spent in bed, on my Steam Deck. Arguably one of the best experiences I've had in gaming thus far. I have forgotten what it's like to play games that way as it's been a long time since the 3DS was my main console, and the games on my switch haven't ever really had that same allure. But the ease of booting up the game, and exploring around, with the occasional challenge here or there with bosses or whatever have you.

TLDR: There's very little I dislike about this game, so please play it.

Early Access Review
EA 1.0:
Incredibly promising, the only issues I've really encountered are just with base building. Everything else is really fleshed out and I can't wait for the world, systems, and mechanics to be further expanded. Performance wise the game could definitely use some work, but seeing as the game is built with UE5 the fact that it can run a consistent 30 fps on a Steam Deck is good enough honestly. I'll likely update this review with each early access update just cause I think it would be cool.

Yes. This game is hard. But so was Hollow Knight.

After playing the game, it's a lot of fun, and I wish for more content. (goodness the DLC cannot come soon enough) There are some things that are dragged down, some design decisions that impact the moment to moment experience, but overall, at least after only having done one playthrough, this game is worth MUCH MORE than full price. Silksong scratches the same itch Celeste and other hard games do, which is the insane dopamine after getting past a difficult challenge. The sigh of relief that it's finally over.
The art (visual and audio) is some of the best I've experienced inside a video game before. The backgrounds are stunning as always, the creatures so intricately designed, yet still unique and simplistic in their ideas. The sounds carrying the weight of your steps, the slashes of your blade, and the music propelling you forward via both bombastic boss themes and ambient area themes.

Don't be scared of this game if it looks interesting. If you get frustrated, you can always come back to it at another time.
