Didn't know this existed until i saw it on a bundle. Was a favorite of mine back in the arcade days. Initially put off by the new graphics, but still got the game. Didn't take long to get passed the new graphics and enjoy the game. Still fun. Forgot how short the levels were.

Definitely worth getting on a sale for some nice nostalgia.

It has been years since i've bought a game at launch, But the original Tomb Raider games hold a very special place in my heart. So much nostalgia. I love revisiting the games. It's awesome that they finally polished them up. I was bummed that the originals were not really compatible with the Steam Deck. They are nice games to play on the go.

They did an awesome job with these remasters. Game size is not ridiculous, you can switch from original graphics to modern seamlessly. Runs great on my PC and on my Steam Deck. They added a ton of achievements which is a big plus for me. And i personally love the old tank controls, but they also included "Modern movement controls"

Some are crying about some warning that they put up because of some of the content didn't age well and is considered very insensitive now. It's a bunch of stupid noise, because they did not modify the game whatsoever. Ppl scream about how others are easily offended, while they are tantruming over some words on a screen.

Not gonna hop on the trend and bash the game. I have almost 3K clocked hours in the 4-5 years I've played this game. Yes, it was dumb and pointless to call this Overwatch 2 and the new overpriced skins are ridiculous. But there is still a lot of fun to be had.

I've bought 2 season passes and do not regret it. Game has provided me with literal 1,000s of hours of entertainment. Worth the money I've spent

Got this through Humble Choice. Was concerned reading about very bad performance bugs, but have not had a single issue with the game. No crashing and no problems ALT + TABbing in and out of the game (Usual issue i have with games). Enjoying the game a lot. Been wanting to play it for years. Worth the wait.

I recall playing the original Metro years ago and absolutely hating it. Stealth was broken, enemies would snipe you from across the map, the checkpoints would be in random terrible places most of the time, even while you were being shot at and almost dying. But i was convinced to finish it, and managed to enjoy the game a bit by the end. enough to give the series a shot and buy the Redux versions of 2033 and Last Light.

Metro 2033 Redux is a huge improvement over the original version. Graphically and just overall with it's game mechanics. It is a lot more enjoyable. It did away with all the annoyances i mentioned above. The difference is so big, that it makes me question if i was just super bad at playing the original. Might have to go back and revisit it to see.

Recommended if you've never played any of the games. Good story, gameplay and excellent atmosphere.

Played Road Rash on the genesis and the PS1. Love the series, was excited to hear they made a new game under a different name though.

The game can be difficult but very fun. It does a good job at giving you plenty of enemies to whack around, they hang around at your same speed to duel. That was something that was an issue in previous games, but here everything on point. I have not come across anything i feel they missed or could improve on. Great game to try out if you are a fan of the series.

I got this game years ago, played it for a bit and put it in the back burner. I finally restarted playing it and had forgotten how fun this franchise was. Shame finding out that after all these years, the developers of this game did not put anything else out.

Highly recommended, if you are looking for something new. Spend a few bucks on it during a sale. Will be worth it

The controls are clunky, the voice acting is terrible....and I LOVE IT.
What fans of the series have been wanting for years is finally here.

For those that have not played this before, you have to keep in mind this is a game that came out 18 years ago. It's not going to look amazing or run at 120 fps. It would be like complaining about GTA III if you played it today for the first time. This game was like nothing else in it's day.

I have no real complaints about this remaster. Game has played flawlessly for me. Excited to finally play Shenmue II. I did play the original a few years ago with a ROM, and it was buggy and messy. This release is definitely the way to go. All nicely polished, next best thing to playing it on the Dreamcast.

Definitely my favorite PS2 games. Very glad i can now play them on my PC for years to come.

Story and gameplay are still awesome. The game looks beautiful, some people confuse "Remaster" with "Remake" They expect a game that is over a decade old look like it was made in 2018 because it's a Remaster. The textures are definitely cleaned up, and it runs great. 200 hours in and have had no issues, no crashes or framedrops.

Must have if you are a fan of the series or are looking into getting into the series.

Take it for what it is. This game is ridiculously over the top, but it is very fun. All that matters. Game of the Century Edition goes down to $5 now, i say it's well worth it.
