Inazuma Eleven is the cooles shonen sports franchise ever.
The wait for this game felt eternal, but it was worth every damn second.

***THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE "SHADOWS OF ROSE" STORY CAMPAIGN AND CONTAIN HEAVY SPOILERS***

I got this DLC like 2 years ago but never really played it until now, since RE9 releases in 2 weeks from now.

This DLC is trash.
Ignoring the fact it doesn't even last 2 hours, it's absolute trash, Rose is one of the worst protagonists I've ever had the experience to play as, she is an stubborn child that cries in her sleep because she got bullied at school, that's the plot, for a RE game, wow.
She wants to remove her (mold) powers from her body, and when she does she goes back to them because this ♥♥♥♥ is your typical "you need to learn to love who you are" woke ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
The story plays out exactly as you expect it to, from start to finish, literally nothing happens that makes you feel anything, excitement, sadness, anything. The moment she realizes "Gabriel" is actually her dad Ethan made me so fkng mad, this is obvious from the beginning for us, and of course I understand she doesn't know it and needs to eventually find out, but they have her literally saying it out loud in case you didn't already know, they think we are stupid?
Rose is just the worst, people say Ethan said cringe stuff but Rose is next level cringe, she says one-liners and ♥♥♥♥ like if she had experience in this stuff, she think she's more tuff than Leon and Chris together lmao. Also she is so annoying, she think she Dr. Neo Cortex looking for that crystal, this is legit so stupid.
Oh, and the super powers, why??? Why force us to use a super power to break a jar with a 10 second animation instead of letting us break it with a knife in less than 1 second? If her powers come from the mold than Ethan and Mia had then why does she have like a complete damn moveset? Why does she turn super saiyan at the end???

AND WHY DO EACH DEATH ANIMATION TAKE LIKE 30 SECONDS TO END? LMAO

As for the other characters, they bring back Ethan just to die again, making his sacrifice at the end of Village feel kinda worthless, because Miranda is back again, since they couldn't even come out with a more original final boss for Rose. Also the Duke is back, except now he is bigger, and evil, he is like a SAW protag lmao, but all he does is kill little girls (Rose's clones) so he ends up looking like a pedophile psychopath, disgusting, oh, and at the end you don't even fight him, or learn the real reason of why he ended like this, he just leaves the story like nothing because ♥♥♥♥ him I guess.

This trully feels like someone at the RE team played Silent Hill while overdosing and decided he wanted to make his own SH game lmao

If you, for whatever reason, want to get this, don't, it's worthless, if you really wanna see the story look it up on Youtube, you are better off wasting that money on the RE3 Remake, that's the worst modern RE game by far, but even that lame game is better and longer than this piece of crap.

1/10 for real, I hate this.
Since this takes place in the future (2037) we can think of this taking place near RE11 or even RE12, and I swear to God if we get to those numbered entries for the main games and they legit put Rose, or any other kid, as the protagonist and give him super powers this franchise will ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die.

This game sucks.
At first it blinds you, it makes you believe it's good, but when you have played 15+ hours (I have played on my tablet too) and you still get tutorial after tutorial, and realize that everything you do in this game has a currency, and every menu advertises ♥♥♥♥ for you to buy... nah.

The story is garbage, like, absolute garbage. If you want to play the same story, but written better, just go play P5/P5R, for real, this is such a waste of time, and of course it isn't even canon so who the ♥♥♥♥ cares.

The gameplay, like I said, is plagued with tutorials, currencies and advertisements. The fights have been over simplified, I get that you can only have 3 personas equiped because that helps fights be faster, but there is also the fact that if you hit a weakness you have to choose who is going to attack next, that sucks, it's lame.

The characters you pull for aren't real "characters" because they are like, weird ass clones of the people they represent or something like that, it's confusing, and stupid, a desesperated way to try to make canon something that really doesn't need a reason to be, it's like "you can have fun, sure, but only if it's explained fun" lol

I'm a Persona fan but this ain't worth the time.
Really, I say it again, instead of trying this game and think on wasting your money on it, you are better off using that money on a real Persona game, any of them, and play that.

Maybe I'll try this again if they ever decide to add Persona 4 characters, but I doubt it, because this game is just bad.

-High price tag for only 4 short, boring and confusing minigames. They never change, is always the same, over and over again.
-Team based gameplay, you can't select just 1 uma, or make your own team picking the ones you want. Even if dumb, I would understand this if the teams were the exact same as the ones established in the anime seasons, but they couldn't even do that right.
-The sprites are nice but the gameplay is so fast they become quickly unrecognizable and end up looking really ugly, I don't understand why they didn't just use the beautiful 3D models from the gacha game.
-Online multiplayer is region locked and has no crossplay, both points are an absolute sin for a game as niche as this, it was dead on arrival and is still dead now of course.
-The Goldship minigame is just an endless runner that gets old after 1 minute of playing.

This was released 6 months ago, half a year, I preordered it and then refunded it (and forgot to post a review LMAO sry), but I've investigated a bit and so far they haven't added anything new, only 2 teams, with a 3rd one comming who knows when, but really adding more characters doesn't matter here, the game has 0 to no content at all, if they released a minigame collection with only 4 minigames (that's honestly pathetic) they should at least update the game adding new ones over time, but as I said, this was dead on arrival, even from the developer side.

This makes me really sad, I'm a diehard Uma fan, been following it since the release of the 1st season back in 2018, been reading the mangas, buying official merchandise (which is not cheap at all), and playing the gacha game literally every day since it's release in Japan, no joke... so to see this as the 1st worldwide project from Uma Musume (or I guess is "Umamusume" in the west even tho those are 2 words) is a total disappointment.

Btw, 2 dudes literally gave me jesters for this, I swear to God the global Uma fanbase is disgusting.

Shadow Generations was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic.
They finally made the "open zone" formula work with this one, ♥♥♥♥ Frontiers.
Next game should be exactly like Shadow Generations, but only that, so all the budget goes to it and not remastering another game, since that hurt the final product, Shadow's game is way too short because of it.

Other than that, playing Sonic Generations again was a blast, but I wish they had added a new zone for Sonic, even if it was DLC, a stage from Lost Worlds, Forces and Frontiers, but they instead gave them to Shadow which is really weird but whatever (they did ignored Lost World for him too and that's so funny lol).

Getting all the achievements in this game was awesome, Shadow's difficulty was just right, and not having tedious online achievements with Sonic is a good thing too.

Worth it, even if you played the og Generations before.
