Aside from some small performance issues that can easily be ironed out and shader compilation which took place during the initial cutscene, this is an excellent remake.

They managed to combine the jank of the original games with modern visuals and it works surprisingly well, I was very sceptical at first. The fact this is on UE5 and doesn't look like a blurry mess is also a miracle.

Gothic 2 when?

Character for people that don't know how to play the game. Genuine fraud character.

Pay to win the game.

Even for a braindead idler, the only thing this game offers is the ability for you to pay to progress. If you are a F2P, you can forget about making any progress pretty much right out of the gate.

Absolutely hilarious that the game has "events" with "leaderboards" that shows the top 50 whales and spenders.

This is the single, greatest remaster I have ever laid my eyes on and should be a golden standard for remasters to come.

From unlockable content such as skins which span and act as a tribute to the franchise, to actual cut content from previous games. Truly a love letter to the franchise and the fans.

If you are a fan of this franchise, I highly recommend buying this, even at full price.

If you feel sad, remember the world is 4.5 billion years old and you just happen to exist at the same time as this game.

Literally second month of 2026 and Team Ninja release absolute peak.

I am a fan of both Nioh 1 and Nioh 2. Having played both on PS4 before the PC release.

They took literally every positive thing from all their previous games and put it into Nioh 3.
Combat feels better than ever when you switch between Ninja and Samurai, you basically have two builds at once which both specialise in different things.

The world design is great, lots to explore and do, lots to collect and see. You actively get rewarded for exploring as well.

A lot of mechanics from the previous two titles return such as finding Kodama, Scampus and each have their unique benefits, the game actively encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and just explore and it rewards that.

Bosses feel challenging and unique, there are a lot of returning enemies and monsters, even animations but it feels right at home for this franchise honestly.

I might be lucky with performance as I am hitting a locked 120FPS without any issues, I hear a lot of people are having problems, but personally I slapped everything to ultra, enabled FG and the game runs better than any plebian console could.

My only gripes so far are the price. £65 for a newly released game is insane. £95 if you want the season pass. So almost £100 for a complete edition.

You can literally walk up to an NPC and ask him if he knows a guy called Nathaniel Higgers and he will give you an in-world/in-lore answer.

This is the last insane video game I have ever played.

Bloober if you are reading this you better give us a DLC with story or a sequel. This is not a request.

Without a doubt one of the worst endings I have seen in a video game. If the poor sales weren't bad enough, the ending would be the final nail in the coffin for what could have been an ok franchise.

The game wasn't too bad, just somewhat underwhelming, everything happens in the last hour of the game and the "real" ending is locked behind a DLC...

Early Access Review
Played 50 hours or so of this as an insider and pretty much saw and did all there is to do and its not a lot. In its current state the game has virtually no content, the content that is there are just some line challenges which you complete to get currency to open "lootboxes" which give you some generic asset store customisation options, alternatively you can spend £20 for a garbage reaper costume. Not to mention this game had MTX during its CLOSED ALPHA, you can't make this s@#t up.

The physics and skating feel great and are a lot of fun, but so many tricks and things from even Skate 3 are missing and even though they are on the roadmap, after 5+ years of development this is more like a glorified demo. The map is tiny and looks like some metaverse @ss map, there are very few interesting lines to skate on this map and you will frequently just go about without anything to skate, there is no skate culture in this game. It sometimes feels like an AI designed this map or something, I hope the map gets expanded and changed in the future because its tiny.

This game can be a lot of fun but after you explore what little content there is to do, the game will degrade to a pick up, play 15 minutes per day and do dailies sort of game. I really want to be positive and have high hopes, but this is EA we are talking about and they will absolutely fk this game up the @ss. Being free to play and early access is the first red flag. I really, really hope I am wrong and that they turn this around and I am aware this is early access and that its free but after a 5 year wait and seeing the few months of insider updates, this is extremely disappointing. I will closely watch the updates and development of this game.

That being said, you should at least play it or try it for yourself and see if you like it since its free.
