use 2lb or 1kg of top round, sliced into thin strips
for the marinade, put:
-half cup of low sodium soy sauce
-2tbsp worcestershire sauce
-2tsp black pepper
-1tsp liquid smoke
-1tsp onion powder
-1tsp seasoned salt
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
into the bag or bowl you wish to marinate the slices in. marinate in the fridge for however long you wish, preferably 1 day, then dehydrate for 4 hours, flipping midway through. if you don't have a dehydrator you can put it in the oven on 175°F or 80°C for the same amount of time, flipping midway through. you can also sprinkle some black or red pepper on the jerky as it is cooking if you like that extra flavor, but they're still great without it.

this is much better than any store brought jerky and i definitely recommend you make it
