Fun yet challenging bullet heaven that integrates twin-stick shooter gameplay. If you are an enjoyer of the bullet heaven genre Letifer is going to feel a bit different. In this game you fight back the hordes with your gun and drone instead of a selection of flashy abilities. Meta progress consists of buffs to Letifer and the drone as well as multiple guns that each have two add-ons, of which only one can be used at a time. While I do enjoy the mix of gun fighting with help of the drone my only complaint is that the choices are a bit lacking. The gun add-ons, while practical, are a bit boring. I wish that there had been more choices/add-ons/abilities for the drone and the gun add-ons were a little more fun and flashy. That said, I have really been enjoying Letifer. It's more challenging than a lot of other bullet heavens, gameplay is fun, the pixel art is great and I really enjoy that effort went into story telling, as narrative is often lacking in this genre.

If you like bullet heavens and/or twin stick shooters I'd recommend you give Letifer a try. It's more than worth the 4.99 price tag and you'll get hours of fun playtime from it!

Fun side-scrolling, 2d, runner with a unique catch: you start the game as merely a skeleton head and need to buy back your body parts (and upgrades) as the game progresses. I think that I might have finished the game without completing all upgrades if I hadn't done a bit of gold grinding before continuing on. Personally, I found World 7 Level 6 to be best for gold and bought upgrades that gave me more gold once I started grinding. It's a simple game but enjoyable, competently made and the pixel art is great! It's a good game for when you want something simple to play and/or shorter play sessions. Recommended!

Cute and fun idler! There is actually quite a bit of content here to go through, too. Multiple different locations and unique fish for each, many decorations to acquire and characters to do quests for. There is also a free dlc that includes a new fishing spot, characters and decorations! I also like that you can play the game fullscreen, windowed (which can be resized to your liking), wallpaper mode or you can just have the little cat fishing (without background) as a desktop companion. For anyone curious, this game is more an idler than a fishing game. Fischer the cat fishes automatically and then your job is to sell the fish, buy upgrades and decorations, accept quests etc. If you like cute and cozy idlers this game would definitely be one that you will enjoy!

I'm surprised at the mixed reviews. I'm really having fun with this game. I play a lot of bullet heavens and while this isn't one of the forerunners of the genre it offers a lot to enjoy. The art is beautiful, I genuinely love looking at the game. Player characters, enemies and abilities all look great. There are seven characters to unlock all of which have three evolutions and unique character designs for each. I also like that there are different ways to upgrade your weapons! This gives a lot of visual and gameplay diversity. I will say that the amount of unlockables is lower than I would like and the translations are a little janky.

I got this game for under two dollars on sale and I've already gotten hours of gameplay and more to go. I'm also going to buy the dlc to try out the extra playable characters. Westale doesn't revolutionize the genre but what it offers is good. If you like bullet heavens (especially if you enjoy hand drawn art in games) give this game a try, don't let the mixed reviews sway you away.

Fun idler with adorable art! Having a lot of fun with this so far. Like most idlers you only need to check in once every so often, more often when you first start. After completing the upgrades and unlocking all locations on the map it's mostly about earning enough gold for the customizations for your spider. I got this in a bundle and decided to try it out finally and I'm glad I did. Even once I've collected everything I will probably still open the game just have my cute, animated spider hanging out on my desktop. If a simple, desktop, idler with cozy aesthetics sounds good to you give this game a try!

A very fun anomaly game! I really enjoyed that the story was interwoven throughout the game and each night as you find more anomalies you will learn more about the haunting. The majority of anomalies are a good balance of difficulty, not too easily noticed but not microscopic changes either. This is one of those anomaly games where you see a change in the scenery and click it to set it back to normal, which I like. Especially for the price of four dollars it will give you fun and engaging anomaly experience. Would definitely buy a sequel if one is made!

Silent Anomalies is a little different from other anomaly games as you search through the different rooms you will only click on whatever object has changed and this fixes the anomaly. A lot of other anomaly games have drop down menus where you choose, specifically, what type of change has occurred. The game also has "secret endings." In these secret ending as you are switching between rooms you will see an anomaly has occurred, these anomalies are usually moving. If you don't click on them and scroll past the room, the next time you reach the moving anomaly it will have changed. Sometimes it will be closer to the camera or have moved into the next room. You need to click on it before it attacks the camera and ends your shift.

The scenes are well done and the anomalies require your attention without being too difficult to spot. There is lots of replayability and it's a game you can put down and pick back up at any time. The shifts aren't too long so it's good for short or long gaming sessions. If you enjoy anomaly games like I'm on Observation Duty or hidden object games you'll have a lot of fun with Silent Anomalies. Looking forward to upcoming sequel!

Fun, cute and very affordable survivors-like. I've been playing a lot of games in the bullet heaven genre lately and this is one of the games I've enjoyed the most. I love the cat theme and the hand-drawn art. The weapons, abilities and evolutions are fun. It's not the most complex or expansive game in this genre but there are multiple characters and maps to unlock, you can create different weapon types with different appearances and there are multiple pets to evolve which help you in battle. Absolutely worth it if you love bullet heavens.

Another fun entry in the Rescue Team series. If you've played and enjoyed the other games you will like this one too. Legion of Destruction plays the same as all the other Rescue Team entries with a fun new story that introduces a new character. Recommended!

Pesticide Not Required is a fun and very unique take on the Bullet Heaven genre. It takes the core mechanics of a Bullet Heaven and mixes it with farming! When you start your run you buy seeds from the store which once planted and harvested upgrade your abilities, while other crops help you level up. During the run you can also fish and mine to level up or earn currency. The main hub is your own personal farm house where you can purchase the permanent upgrades that make you stronger. And one of my favorite parts of this game is you can upgrade and decorate your farm house! Absolutely recommend this game, especially to those who love Survivors-likes!
