It's definitely an enjoyable monster slaying action game with plenty to keep you busy for a good while. There's lots of gear to craft, items to collect, and creatures to capture. The game world is vibrant and many areas look very well done despite the somewhat washed out filtering going on throughout the game.

I liked having the mounts to speed up travel time and it's neat watching them wall run and jump between obstacles. The new combat features were also pretty sweet, as a dual blade character I really enjoyed the focus strikes.

Somehow despite all of this I still find World to be the better game though I can't quite seem to put in to words why that is. I'd still say give this game a fair try though.

This time around there are so may different ways to rip and tear that it's almost overwhelming and I loved every single second of it. No game makes me feel like a bad ass more than modern Doom games. The music, the action, the atmosphere, and the insane amount of testosterone flowing through the game are unmatched.

This time around we even get to pilot a big ass doom slaying mech and ride a super awesome dragon through hell. There's just too much cool stuff going on to not love the crap out of this game.

You must try it!

What a bummer man, I can't even get it to launch.

I tried the usual driver updates, file verification, deleted the .dll file some folks have mentioned, and the intel tuning program but my system does not allow adjusting clock settings.

I guess I'll try this again some months or years down the line if I remember.

Another great platform series from my childhood. While I am glad to see it on Steam, it's a shame that it didn't get the remaster/remake treatment. They did at least add support for modern resolutions, so that helps a little bit.

Hopefully this release might lead to something like that down the road but until then I'd still recommend checking these classic gems out.

Overall a pretty awesome romp through the zone full of mysterious anomalies, strange beasts, and warring factions. Story mode was plenty of fun and it's even more interesting to simply go exploring through the map. The mutants and psi creatures will keep you on your toes and rocking the fk out of some bandits never gets old.

The game looks beautiful and the zone has many areas that are a wonder to behold. That being said it also has several instances where the game will lock up to low frame rates. Restarting the game fixed it for me but eventually it would happen again. Overall I think this happened about 5 times by the time I finished it. There are also a bunch of minor bugs that didn't ruin the game but definitely gave me Bethesda PTSD.

Still a really great game and worth checking out if your into post apoc vibes.

It's long and slow but also quite unique and interesting. Exploring the zone while managing your car turns out to be more addictive than I thought it was going to be. There are a number of threats to be careful of but don't go in expecting a shooter game like STALKER or Fallout.

The environment is creepy and sometimes rather tense so it still finds ways to keep you entertained. The graphics are great and the game world looks well detailed. I'm glad I checked this game out and definitely recommend it.

Super awesome platform game with a great vibe and beautiful stages. I've never heard of this gem when it originally launched but I am very glad I picked up the remasters.

This game gives me serious Banjo Kazooie feels and reminds me of all the great platformers that I played growing up. It's definitely worth checking out!

The game won't launch for me and that makes me sad because I need to play with the kitty meows and I can't.

Sonic Kart 4 mixes up the formula by throwing random stage changes into each race via the "Crossworld" mechanic. It's kind of a neat feature but that's really the only good change this time around. Sadly there is no adventure mode like the last game but it's still a fun racer.

There are a ton of different race settings for different game modes. The stages look amazing and the art is well done. Each track is beautiful and fun to go tearing through. Definitely worth checking out on a Steam sale.

Ah yes, the first platform game to introduce me to masochism as a child. Love it or hate it, this is a collection of unique classic platformers that is sure to get you cursing like a sailor.

To be honest I had never played Bubsy 3D before but I am glad I did. This child's fever dream of a 3D game was actually kind of fun in a weird hate myself until I get it right kind of way.
