I thinks the neg reviews come from follks not knowing how to read any more............kinda sad.......

It seems like something I would enjoy, but it keeps wasting my time and boring me.

The game has a solid groundwork, but the designers didn't understand pacing at all. NOT. AT. ALL.
The game is obscure and some of the gameplay effects are unclear until you try them, so you end up dying.
The difficulty is hard, which is ok, but you also end up dying, until you get the hang of the game mechanics, which are obscure.
There are multiple playable characters, which is ok, but I made the mistake of playing them as soon as I unlocked them - so the obscure game mechanisms of each new character keeps you dying, as you try to figure out 9 character all at once, rather than focusing on figuring out 1.
You are forced to take too many cards, and they are difficult to remove, so you can't control your draws, which is ok for a card game - but it also makes the game extremely random (more so than many other card games), which means that you die needlessly even when you make no mistakes. And you will make mistakes at the first 10 hours of the game, as you try to figure things out.
And the runs are long, each attempt where you die on the last boss takes hours.

After 14 hours, I was few attacks away from killing the last boss of that run. Next time I try, I will get sligthly better RNG, or Iat least I will make better choices. So I will win my next round. But there will be n next round, I'm done. Ultimately, the game is boring. Maybe it is just the god-awfull pacing that is killing the enjoyment for me, but by god is this game BORING.

The game is not polished enough. I had a thought, that it was in an early access or something. Gets boring after like 10 minutes.
