Hello everyone!

We’ve been listening to your feedback and addressing bugs - and now the first batch of improvements for inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is finally here.

By popular demand, we’ve added an ability to WALK FASTER. We’ve also fixed a wide range of bugs and issues. You can check out the full patch notes below.

The patch is available now on Steam and will roll out to all consoles very soon!

Change Log

New Features

Added an ability to WALK FASTER. To turn this on, please open Settings. In "GENERAL" under Accessibility switch "Sprint Button" to "On" and use a corresponding button during gameplay

Gameplay & Mechanics

Improved Boxes stacking
- now if you take the box with Toy Capsules or the box with Marketing Materials while holding a box with products in your hands, the products will not move to the stack of boxes in the Storage Room (since many players weren't able to find the products in the stack of boxes) - the product box will instead be placed in the nearest spot on the floor in the Main Area so that it's easy to find
- If you picked up Toy Capsule/Marketing Materials box while holding an empty box, it'll still go to the stack of empty boxes in the Storage Room

Story Events

Fixed a critical bug where the order in which customers/delivery arrive would mix up if player pressed "I" button on a keyboard
Fixed an issue with Mystery Man on the sixth shift where the dialogue near Freezer wouldn't start properly resulting in a critical bug
Fixed a bug where Satoshi could arrive when the journalist asks to order taxi
Fixed an issue where event with recommending sale items to Mystery Man on the second shift was triggering after the payment is already completed
Fixed a bug causing Satoshi to remain in the store after checkout on 2nd and 3rd shift
Fixed a progression bug caused by Satoshi entering while selecting an extra bag for the Mystery Man on the 5th shift
In a conversation with Delivery Service on the third shift regarding ordering Gonseung Coffee text now says "order 1 box", because Makoto can't order 2 boxes that night. Text was changed for all languages

Interactions & Systems

Improved object targeting responsiveness when interacting with the box of Capsule Toys
Fixed an issue where you could interact with Sink from behind the counter
Improved object targeting when interacting with the Vase on the sixth shift
Fixed an issue where controls would stop working if player started checking customer out and opening text log at the same time
Fixed an issue where players couldn't close Notepad after opening it during checkout cutscene before scanning products
Fixed an issue where players weren't able to interact with Chief on the 5th shift

Cutscenes & Camera

Fixed an issue for slower Text Speed options where lines from some cutscenes would cut off before they were even typed, not allowing players to read the text properly

UI / UX

Fixed a bug where "Decrease/Increase" input would appear in Settings after changing Controller Style
Added Accessibility options in "Settings"
Fixed a bug where dynamic panel would constantly move after exiting interactions

Achievements

Fixed a bug that caused achievement names to be displayed incorrectly (it showed achievement that you unlocked first during that play session)

Localization

Fixed misspels in English and Russian

Visual Fixes

Fixed an issue where Makoto could clip into one of the boxes in the Storage Area on the last night shift

Audio

Fixed an issue where some SFX effects (like Satoshi talking about great tea martial artists on the 2nd shift) were not linked to SFX slider which resulted in louder sounds than intended

Miscellaneous

Added additional names to Credits section

Xbox-speficic bugs

Fixed an issue with accessing DLC on Xbox
Added localized Achievement names for Xbox

Endless Mode?

So I've seen that they're selling Inkonbini and Lake as a bundle - I love both games so much! They're both super chill and cozy. I hope we get an endless mode just like they added it to Lake. I understand that both games have a limited storyline but endless mode after finishing it would be great. Just working nightshift after nightshift, super chill. It would also be cool if we could get more npc's who come into the store at night and buy stuff. I don't mean new dialogue just more people you can ring up....

mystery man stuck

I'm unsure f this is a bug or if I'm just not picking up on something. I have scanned, taken money and given change to the mystery man on day two. it then promted me if I wantedto talk about the sale items. Regardless if I do, and he's intrested in something or if I don't he is just stading by the checkout countrer with his bag. It seems like he's waiting for something, but I don't know if I'm just missing it or if he's stuck. (Seems strange to tell him about sales after he's paied). I can move around, but...

Lovely idea but it seems it is very limited if it just last few hours.

I played the demo and like the "story" approach to the monotonous routine of handling a store. Although I also learned from reviews that the story is like 4 hours at best and besides getting different sentences from the customers you interact with, the game still end up being the same. Reminds me a lot of "Lake"; a game where you are a postman and there is a story; which last for 3-5 hours. Although when the game ends, you can still play daily deliveries without the "story" parts as the game basically en...

The game crashes when I open it

hi when I try to load the game the black loading screen appears with the game music for a few seconds then it freezes and the unitycrashhandler file starts running, a window appears for a few sec, disappears and then the game crashes.. I've tried starting the game multiple times but it always does the same thing. Any solution ?...

End Game Plus? (Endless Mode)

I wanted to make a second post about my previous question which sadly fell unanswered and I hope to have my questions answered here. I want to know once the story is over will there be a plan to add an endless mode to where you become the manager of sorts. Which is something I would enjoy to have, or are there no plans to pursue that? I really do hope the idea is considered because I could see myself enjoying this much more with that option. Cute game, but it's pretty short. I played through the whole story in under 6 hours and there was some AFK time in there where I left the game running. I usually like to get an hour of play time for every dollar I spend. For a $20 game, I'd say it's not worth purchasing.

This game frustrated me...

I love the art, the atmosphere and the characters but that auto save is a killer of fun. While i understand this game is made to be played through multiple times it is highly disheartening when you realize you missed one thing and can't restart the day for more casual gamer. You can't fix any mistakes without having to play through the first days again and that starts to feel like the game punishing you. Especially when you became used to a more casual opening in the early days and then the lines start to blur of when the timer of the people coming and going starts.

While I would have loved to see how the story went, I truly couldn't make it past day four ... and that's after I restarted twice.

I BEG for just allowing us to restart the day we are on, or just a manual save option. As it is now... i cannot recommend for a cozy casual experience unless you have plenty of time to sink into playing this game over and over again.
