The game mechanics, puzzles, etc., aren't bad, though a bit excessive. However, the main downside is being stuck with the old man companion the entire time, which becomes incredibly tiresome, especially since his own story is predictable from minute one, just stupidly obvious. They should have included at least three companions and saved the old man for the end. The story isn't very good, and the ending is completely unsatisfying. Very poor

Wonderful Story and worth seeing it through for that alone. There is a lot of potential to expand the exploration, combat, traversal and gameplay with more complex level design. As it is very linear in this iteration.

All in all its really a spectacular debut title that deserves more attention.

Only shortcomings are really the linearity and lack of more exploration to use the traversal abilities unlocked of the course of the game. That and a more meaningful equipment system and you would push this even further. Kudos devs!

Nice looking game, plays and runs well. No major performance problems, other than some dips with bigger environments.
Good story, nice and inventive puzzles, impactful combat.

Some nitpicky things for me:
- HDR implementation is poor. I switched back to SDR since HDR mode makes the game lose all contrast. It lifts the blacks so much it looks really flat.
- The environments look really good, but it's missing some life because everything is very static. For instance, the trees and branches don't seem to move at all.
- I don't understand the point of the photo mode when the minimum focal length (35mm) is higher than when you are in regular third person camera. Why doesn't it let you zoom out further?
