Would you like to install them now" i clicked yes my computer restarted and i had to delete everything on my C:Drive. Is there any way this could be fixed? Os:Windows 10...

This issue also happens on the Joint task force RTS, not sure if it's the same engine, So i recently decided to play this gem again, on a recently built pc. After messing with resolutions and fixes etc, the game runs just as well as i can remember. However as soon as a mass of water, mailly rivers or big lakes are on screen, the game lags, badly, and it intensifies the closer you get to the water's edge.
