Game really looks like inspired by The Last of Us. But is it just inspiration or plagiarism?

Just started the game and the resolution setting isn't doing anything. The game is incredibly blurry no matter what resolution I select. The menus are really pixilated as well. Update: Yeah, none of the graphics settings are being applied. The menu shows they've changed but nothing in-game is different. Second Update: The quality presets seam to work but resolution is stuck, I can't turn off motion blur or depth of field, I can't adjust the frame rate, and the brightness setting does nothing.
