Welcome to the Red Network (RN)! This community revolves around me and all of the wacky things that I enjoy. Established in early 2017 as "Red Gaming Evolved (RGE)", the Red Network is the product of months of hard work of revamping the server, converting it from a mundane gaming server to a vibrant, exciting diverse community revolving all around my personal passions and interests. After two years of running RGE, I realized that I wanted a server that really revolved around my interests and what I truly enjoy, rather than a community set on being the most active and trendy.

The Red Network now hosts a variety of different things for people of all backgrounds and interests to enjoy their time here and everything we have to offer. We may not be the biggest server in the world, or anywhere near it for that matter, but we strive to provide a personalized, fun experience for anyone who decides to stick around.

Fun things include playing on our Minecraft SMP server, discussing the latest political trends in politics, talking about tech, STEM, programming, entrepreneurship and anything nerdy in their respective channels, having heated but friendly discussions and debates, and playing games together! We plan to offer much more as time goes on by listening to the community's desires and making implementations/changes based on community feedback.

Remember that while I wanted to make a community that revolves around my interests, my team and I still want to hear from you and everything that you might want to see on this server! Our staff team will be not only monitoring the server and keeping everyone safe, but also helping make the server a more active, engaging place. If you ever feel the need to reach out to our team for absolutely anything, join our support server below and submit a ticket. If you were or someone you know was banned or muted, direct them there as well.

Happy 2022: ARK - Lost Island and Future Plans

It has been two and a half years since an announcement has been posted in the Red Network/Red Gaming Evolved Steam Group. I am here to wish anyone still viewing this group a happy 2022!

The last few years have been transformative for the Red Network. Since our last announcement on here, we have created a Discord server that now boasts nearly 300 members.

You might be happy to hear that We are still going strong on ARK. The flagship Ragnarok base from 2018 and that was mentioned in the last major announcement from 2019 of the decommissioned Island base, IS STILL IN OPERATION. That is right. The Ragnarok base will be celebrating its 4th anniversary this year! The rex breeding that we started in 2018 has since become a full-fledged operation that spans across two bases on two servers.

The Valguero base was abandoned in 2020, and no activity has happened there since. A Crystal Isles base was temporarily established to tame Crystal Wyverns in 2020, but that too has been abandoned.

With the release of Lost Island in December 2021, the Red Network is happy to say that our second base is being built rapidly and is flourishing. Unlike the second base on the previous maps, this one is running full steam ahead, with no intentions of being abandoned. In time, it may even replace Ragnarok to become the Red Network's flagship ARK base.

Like our last post in 2020, we invite any former Red Network/Red Gaming Evolved members to join us and play once more. We can make new memories together, as the screenshots and artworks I have from the early days in 2016 and 2017 continue to serve as a testament to how far we've come in this game.

[IMPORTANT] Conclusion of the Island

The RGE Island Base has been officially decommissioned, and demolition has been completed. The RGE Administrators transferred dinos that it saw most valuable to our Ragnarok base, RGE's new flagship base, alongside Valguero. Some dinos have been left behind, as we don't believe them to be an asset to our continuation. If you are interested to see if your dino was left behind, visit http://69.30.232.218 and log in. You have until they starve to bring them to Ragnarok. If you were an Island-only player and have not been invited to Ragnarok or Valguero, message any of the RGE administrators on Steam or Discord and we will add you to those tribes on the respective servers.

We believe that the Island was no more than a burden to continuing, as we now have two functioning bases on Ragnarok and Valguero. The Administrators did not see the need nor had the time to continue 3 bases. Hence, we decided to terminate the base on the Island. We apologize if this is of an inconvenience to any RGE tribe members.

We are beginning a new chapter of RGE. We have a specialized Rex breeding chain underway built for boss fights and are making huge strides on Ragnarok and Valguero. We hope you and others will either join us for the first time or return to the tribe.
