Hi guys, just wanted to share some things that we've been doing for teamwork.tf.


We just launched a new feature called "quickplay notifications". It helps you find a full server playing the maps you specified! No more waiting around in empty servers, just setup the alert and hop in when you get one! You can even receive them on your phone, so you won't miss them! I've tested it myself, and it works great in the weekend. Just add some maps, set your region and hop in once you get the notification! Anyway, besides this we've also done some extensive analytics on Valve servers here https://teamwork.tf/labs?password=1122h1ua about the server compositions.


And at last we've also added three new gamemodes to the quickplay overview: Balloon Race, Custom Weapons and Uber Upgrades. Those gamemodes existed for longer, but they seem to pickup some more players now!

Sorry for the late announcement, but I've gotten quite busy with the hype around the release, but the new website is finally live.

It has got a new overview from the TF2 community, and also a new community server quickplay.

Best way to experience it, is just to visit it. Check it out at https://teamwork.tf/

As of now, we will change our policy about adding new channels to teamwork.tf. A lot of YouTube channels keep requesting an account, meanwhile they are not TF2 focused and usually only have 1 or 2 TF2 (related) videos.

The exact requirements will be set later, but don't expect your YouTube channel to be added when your YouTube channel only covers TF2 for a very small fraction. As you might know, we are only focused on TF2, which means a fully dedicated TF2 channel is more valuable for us and the community. This will also be reflected in the new website.

From now on, we will also focus on TF2-related events. Such events might include comp. tournaments, fundraisers, meetings etc.

We will be the most active on twitter at https://twitter.com/TF2teamwork for these news reports, but we also start using personalized mails to all TF2 creators to keep everyone up to date.

If you are the organizer of such an event, or are you just really excited about it: talk to us via mail, twitter or steam and we will figure something out to let the TF2 community know about the event!
