beautiful...

They call it Brocli,
the shyest salad born,
hiding by the croutons
like it’s socially forlorn.

Its lettuce friends are loud,
the olives love to brag,
but Brocli just adjusts
its tiny napkin flag.

It dodges every fork stab,
escapes each hungry gaze,
politely changing places
in a leafy little maze.

Yet if you sit there grinning,
with patience kind and true,
Brocli peeks from hiding -
your new best bud in green!
